I would reject that as during the reign of the Medes we read of the law of the Medes and Persians, but in Esther after the Persians were in power, we read of the law of the Persians and Medes. Josephus said that the king who married Esther was called Cyrus but that the Greeks called him Artaxexes.Įzra mentions Ahasuerus in Chap 4 who some say was the king who married Esther and that he was Cambyses the son of Cyrus.Īnother article says that Darius the Mede, Dan 9:1 was the son of Ahasuerus and Esther.
